Troubleshoot reports
Use this page when a report returns nothing, fails, or does not match what you expected.
The report returned no rows
- Check that both Start Date and End Date are set. A report run with an empty date may return no rows.
- Check the date range. Oppex counts incidents on the day they were created, and data is complete up to the end of the previous day.
- Clear the optional filters. A Services or Sources choice can exclude every incident in the range.
- Confirm that you are in the workspace that received the incidents.
The run failed
Select View Error in the execution history to read the reason. Oppex stops a report that runs for more than two minutes. Choose a shorter date range or fewer filters, and select Re-run.
The result says Showing 500 of N rows
The page shows at most 500 rows. The rows are not lost. Use Export All Rows (CSV) to download all of them. See Export report data.
The numbers differ from the incident list
- Reports use data that Oppex rebuilds every night, so today's incidents are not included until the next refresh.
- A report counts an incident on the day it was created, even if it was acknowledged or resolved later.
- The incident list and a report may use different filters. Compare the same dates, services and sources.
A scheduled report did not arrive
- Open Manage Subscription on the report and check that the subscription is Active. Oppex pauses a subscription after three failed sends in a row.
- Check the day, time and time zone in the subscription's schedule.
- Check that your address is among the recipients, and that you did not use the unsubscribe link in an earlier email.
You cannot see Reports
Reports appears in the left navigation only when Oppex has turned it on for your account. Contact Oppex support if it is missing.
