Select multiple incidents
Before you apply a bulk action, select the incidents you want to change. You can select individual incidents, every incident on the current page, or every incident that matches your filters.
A checkbox appears only on incidents you are allowed to acknowledge, snooze, or resolve. See Bulk action permissions and limits.
Select incidents on the current page
- Open the Incidents list.
- Select the incidents in one of these ways:
- To select individual incidents, tick the checkbox to the left of each incident title. The bulk actions bar replaces the list header and shows the count, for example 2 Incidents Selected.
- To select every incident on the page, tick the checkbox in the list header, above the first incident. The bulk actions bar shows All N incidents on this page are selected.
To clear the selection, click the checkbox in the bulk actions bar or click Cancel.
Select every incident that matches your filters
- In the Incidents list, filter the list so that it shows only the incidents you want to change. You can filter by service, severity, time range, or search text.
- Tick the checkbox in the list header to select every incident on the current page.
- Click Select all N incidents across all pages. The bar shows All N incidents are selected across all the pages.
This link appears only when more incidents match your filters than fit on one page.
This selection includes incidents on pages you have not opened. Narrow your filters until the count in the bar matches what you expect.
To return to selecting only the current page, click Revert.
What clears a selection
- Changing a filter or the search text clears the selection.
- Moving to another page clears a selection of individual incidents or of the current page.
- A selection of all incidents across all pages stays in place when you move between pages.
- Unticking any incident while all pages are selected returns you to a selection of the current page.
- Clicking the checkbox in the bulk actions bar, or clicking Cancel, clears the selection.
