An incident has no checkbox. You cannot acknowledge, snooze, or resolve that incident, or it is already resolved.Ask the person the incident is assigned to, or a Workspace Admin, to act on it.
The Select all N incidents across all pages link does not appear. The link appears only after you select every incident on the current page, and only when more incidents match your filters than fit on one page.Tick the checkbox in the list header. If every matching incident fits on one page, that checkbox already selects all of them.
Apply is disabled. You have not chosen a status, or none of the selected incidents can take the chosen status.Choose a status from Change status, and then read the yellow note under the bar.
The confirmation message appeared, but some incidents did not change. Those incidents were already in the target status, or in a status that cannot change to it. For example, acknowledging skips incidents that are already acknowledged, and snoozing skips incidents that are already snoozed. Oppex skips them without an error. No action is needed.
The selection disappeared.Changing a filter or the search text clears the selection. Moving to another page clears a selection of the current page.Set your filters first, and then select the incidents.
An incident still shows its old status after the confirmation message.Oppex processes bulk changes in the background.Wait a few seconds, or refresh the list.
Apply & Snooze is disabled, or an error appears in the snooze dialog. The duration is shorter than 1 minute or longer than your workspace's maximum snooze.Choose a duration within the maximum shown in the dialog.

FAQ

Where can I see which rule stopped an incident from being selected?

Read the yellow note under the bulk actions bar. It ends with the rule that applies to you, such as "You can only snooze incidents assigned to you."

Who can act on an incident that I cannot select?

The person the incident is assigned to can acknowledge, snooze, or resolve it. Anyone on its escalation policy can acknowledge it. An Owner, Global Admin, or Workspace Admin can resolve any incident; an Admin can resolve incidents on services they administer or whose escalation policy they belong to; a Responder can resolve incidents on services whose escalation policy they belong to.

Why did Oppex skip some incidents after I clicked Apply?

You selected all incidents across all pages, and some of them were incidents you are not allowed to change. Oppex skipped those and changed the rest.
