WhatsApp alerts
When the escalation policy uses WhatsApp, Oppex sends a WhatsApp message to the contact number on your profile. You can acknowledge the incident from the message without signing in.
Permissions
Anyone the incident is assigned to receives the message. Acknowledging from it needs no sign-in and no role.
Acknowledge from WhatsApp
- Open the WhatsApp message from Oppex. It shows your name, the full incident title, and the incident ID.
- Tap the acknowledge button in the message. A page opens in your browser and shows "Incident acknowledged successfully".
The incident is acknowledged, and escalation stops as it does when you acknowledge in the web app.
The WhatsApp message cannot resolve or snooze
The message offers acknowledge only. Resolve or snooze the incident in the Oppex web app or the mobile app.
If the link does not work

| "Invalid or expired token" | The link is older than 7 days, or it has already been used. Open the incident in Oppex. |
